Patrick Burns, D.O.
Dr. Burns is board certified in both anesthesiology and pain management by the American Board of Anesthesiology. His undergraduate degree in biochemistry is from Florida State University and he received his D.O. from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine.
His post graduate education includes an internship at Cook County Hospital in Chicago. He studied preventative medicine at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. He completed his residency in anesthesiology at the Medical College of Georgia. He then completed a fellowship in interventional pain management at the Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Burns’ training encompasses all aspects of current interventional techniques. He is also one of the leading experts on radio frequency and the treatment of pain syndromes here in the Southeast.
He is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiology, Florida Osteopathic Medical Association and Duval County Medical Society. He is also owner of Southeast Anesthesia and Spine Specialists. He also spent five years at Jacksonville Spine Center.
